Explore Roman food and drink from the trades they brought here, to Roman recipes and the associated gods and goddesses. There’ll also be object handling and a herb identifying game.
What to expect
Our free activities are here to help you take some time for yourself and to meet others that understand the joys and challenges of looking after a loved one.
- Whilst this session will not include any cooking or baking, we’ll send you a Roman-inspired recipe ahead of the session which you’re welcome to make and bring along with you on the day.
- Delve into some local history and culture.
- Enjoy some time for you with refreshments provided!
- If you need help with transport to attend this activity, please inform us when booking. Whilst we will do our best to arrange this, please note that we cannot make any guarantees.
