Peer support
Together, we can help each other
Although everyone’s caring situation is unique and can come with specific challenges, there are often shared emotions and feelings that are common to carers within our caring community.
We regularly hear people expressing feelings of love and joy, but we understand that feelings of anger and guilt can also arise. Some carers feel angry about their situation or guilty about wanting to put their needs first and take time out – being a carer can be a lot to manage and the emotional cycle can feel endless.
Your peers are here for you
If you’ve ever felt this way about your caring role, we want you to know that you are not alone.
You have a tribe of people at The Carers’ Centre that will understand, without you having to explain.
