Bereavement Help Point (Odd Down)

This group is a free and welcoming space for anyone who has experienced a loss. It is an opportunity for people to meet and talk with others who may be experiencing similar feelings of bereavement, particularly from a caring perspective.

We understand how difficult and upsetting it can be when a caring role changes or ends.

You are not alone.

Run in partnership with Dorothy House Hospice and We Hear You (WHY), and funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.

Bereavement Help Point (Odd Down)

What to expect

Our free activities are here to help you take some time for yourself and to meet others that understand the joys and challenges of looking after a loved one.

There are lots of reasons to join this fantastic activity:

  • Meet people in a similar situation, that understand what it's like to look after a friend or family member

  • Get together in a relaxed local setting

  • Enjoy an informal chat over a cuppa that's guided by the attendees, with support from a friendly host

What our community say

"The activities are a little oasis of calm, they allow me to zone out of a busy routine and take a breath."
