Underneath you'll find more about our small, local charity, one that supports thousands of unpaid carers aged five and above across Bath and North East Somerset. You may like to make a donation, or choose us to benefit from your next fundraiser! We really appreciate all the support we get from people like you.
Make a difference to the lives of those looking after friends and family, let them know they do not have to face this journey alone.
Thank you for scanning the QR code on the back of your pebble - you've taken the first stepping stone to supporting a truly important local charity supporting thousands of people looking after their loved ones.
Across Bath and North East Somerset, approximately 20,000 individuals look after their family and friends who require a little extra support and care as a result of either a disability, an addiction, mental illness, poor health or simply a result of getting older. Unpaid carers adapt their lives, often at a cost to their own health, wellbeing or finances, in order to proudly care for those in their circle.
Heading here and reading on is your first step in making a big difference to their lives.
Unpaid carers, could be caring for a parent as they get older, helping a sibling navigate their childhood, supporting a neighbour with their food shop and prescriptions, providing extra care to a partner through ill-health. Some are as young as five, and they need to know we are here to provide practical support, financial advice, and an opportunity to take a break from their caring role - to remember who they are and be amongst others who understand.
Without us, carers often feel isolated, overwhelmed and have no-where to turn. You can help change that.
Fundraising Ideas
Below we talk about some of our favourite ideas, hints and tips to make your fundraising journey a success. We hope you’ll find everything you need to have the most successful and enjoyable time raising funds for The Carers' Centre. But we also understand that every fundraising idea comes with its own challenges so, if you need a little more support or advice, we’re only a phone call or email away.

Create a birthday fundraiser
A birthday fundraiser is a simple way to support a charitable cause by asking friends and family to donate to a charity instead of giving gifts.
Donate in memory

What do we do?
Here at The Carers' Centre we provide essential support services to empower unpaid cares to successfully manage their lives and make a positive impact for them selves and those around them. We offer a free support line for carers to access advice and guidance from our specially trained team, ready and willing to offer a listening ear and practical advice that can improve their lives. Carers have the opportunity to take part in a variety of free wellbeing activities and trips throughout the year, enabling them to take a break from their relentless caring role. Our Carer Café programme provides the space to be amongst others who understand what it's like.
