What to expect
Our free activities are here to help you take some time for yourself and to meet others that understand the joys and challenges of looking after a loved one.
Things to note:
- It’s recommended you wear quick drying clothing such as leggings / swim shorts. Please come dressed ready for the session and bring a change of clothes. If it’s chilly extra windproof clothing will be provided. Valuables will be locked away securely whilst you’re on the water.
- After the session there are provisions for you to get changed at the riverside. If you finish your session slightly damp, there is access to changing rooms and showers a few minutes’ walk away.
- If you need help with transport to attend this activity, please inform us when booking. Whilst we will do our best to arrange this, please note that we cannot make any guarantees.
What our community say
"Good to get out in the fresh air with good company – feel the benefits physically and socially. Very enjoyable, good to have a couple of hours to just enjoy the time and not worry about anything else that needs doing."
