Men's Wellbeing Workshops
Join us for a transformative series of three workshops dedicated to men's wellbeing. Each session will build on the last, fostering a supportive and compassionate environment for men to engage in meaningful conversations.
Session 1: Men & Wellbeing
In the first workshop, we'll discuss how to shift from 'survival' mode to 'thrive' mode by incorporating wellbeing practices into daily life. We'll also explore the power of groups of men engaging in brave and compassionate conversations about their struggles.
Session 2: Masculinity & Accessing Support
This session will focus on uncovering and challenging the wide range of societal pressures and expectations placed on men. There’ll be time to reflect on the impact of these influences and learn how to leave behind anything that's no longer helpful. We'll provide a safe space to discuss the discomfort associated with asking for help and explore ways to build social connections that encourage men to seek support when needed.
Session 3: Building Supportive Community
In the final workshop, we'll explore the barriers men face in receiving support and work on strategies to overcome them. You will learn the key pillars of active listening and then develop those skills by putting them into practice. We'll identify barriers others face and explore how to create inclusive support systems within our communities. This session will emphasise gratitude for the support systems we already have, while looking at ways to proactively enhance them.
By the end of this series, you will have developed a deeper understanding of your own wellbeing, built stronger social ties, and acquired practical skills to support yourself and others.
