Joel Huggins

As Development Manager at The Carers’ Centre, Joel leads the charity’s philanthropy and fundraising strategy, helping secure the long-term sustainability of services. He focuses on developing new income streams, as well as strengthening donor and funder relationships.

With a background in tech sales, and a Master’s in Communication for Development and Social Change, Joel brings a mix of commercial thinking and purpose-led strategy to the charity. After ten years living across Europe, including six years in Copenhagen, he recently returned to the South West where he grew up.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find him walking his dog on the beach, enjoying a sauna and cold plunge, or planning his next trip.
