Georgia Hand
Young Carers Support Officer
Georgia’s role involves supporting young carers at every stage of their journey with us, from registration through to wellbeing activities, assessments and ongoing follow-up support.
She has a real passion for helping others. Prior to joining this role, Georgia worked in equine-assisted learning for an alternative provision, where she supported children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). She delivered a trauma-informed, experiential learning approach, working alongside horses in nature to promote wellbeing and personal development.
Outside of work, Georgia enjoys photography, going for long walks in nature and spending time with her animals.
