Caring for someone and menopause

Caring and the menopause

It can be difficult to look after our own health and wellbeing when we care for someone else, especially when we are experiencing shifts and changes ourselves.

Whether you are experiencing menopause, perimenopause or supporting someone going through this transition, we are here for you.

Wellbeing Coach and Nutritional Therapist, Sue Judge discusses menopause, perimenopause considering the extra challenges carers can face during these transitional years. As well as guidance on how you can support your wellbeing.

Top tips to support your wellbeing

As Sue reminds us in the video above, nutrition and variety are key to helping us during these changes and fluctuations.

Bitter foods such as watercress, rocket, chicory can help aid digestion. Vitamins and minerals such as Omega 3, Magnesium, B Vitamins (especially b12 and b6), Iron and Vitamin D can support our body with symptoms.

But we can't forget our mental wellbeing - it's just as important as our physical health, check out Sue's key recommendations below.
