Nature Through Time
Step into history at Great Avon Wood. Explore medieval earthworks, admire some of the oldest oaks in the area, and witness a new forest shaping the Chew Valley landscape.

What to expect
Our free activities are here to help you take some time for yourself and to meet others that understand the joys and challenges of looking after a loved one.
Things to note:
- Please make sure you bring suitable footwear for walking in the woods and that you dress for the weather. There will be some shelter in case there is any rain on the day, but you will need to wear warm clothing.
- Please bring a packed lunch with you.
If you need help with transport to attend this activity, please inform us when booking. Whilst we will do our best to arrange this, please note that we cannot make any guarantees.
