Health Checks
Aged 40-74? A Health Check looks at your cholesterol, blood pressure, glucose, BMI and lifestyle, helping you stay healthy, informed and confident about your wellbeing.
Appointments available at 9:30am, 10:15am, 11:00am, 11:45am, 12:30 pm, 2:00 pm, 2:45 pm, 3:30 pm and 4:15 pm. Please let us know in the ‘Other Helpful Notes’ section when requesting this which times you can make.
What to expect
There are lots of reasons to join this fantastic activity:
- To be eligible for a health check you must not have had one in the last 5 years. Health Checks are also NOT available to those with any of these pre-existing health conditions: Heart disease / Stroke/ High blood pressure (and taking BP meds) /High Cholesterol (taking statins) /Atrial Fibrillation / Chronic Kidney Disease / Diabetes.
- As well as the information above you will also leave with a QRISK Score which is your estimated risk of cardiovascular disease.
If you need help with transport to attend this activity, please inform us when booking. Whilst we will do our best to arrange this, please note that we cannot make any guarantees.
