Dementia Information and Support Programme - Online
This course provides support and up-to-date, relevant information in a group environment, where you can learn more about dementia, discover practical strategies to help support the person you’re caring for, find out about options for planning for the future and the importance of taking care of yourself.
The programme is run in a series of sessions with the same small group of people, offering you the opportunity to share experiences in a confidential and friendly environment with others in a similar situation.
What to expect
Our free activities are here to help you take some time for yourself and to meet others that understand the joys and challenges of looking after a loved one.
- If you need help with transport to attend the in-person course, please inform us when booking. Whilst we will do our best to arrange this, please note that we cannot make any guarantees.
What our community say
'All the sessions have provided me with so much more knowledge and just what is out there. It is very easy to feel isolated when you are a carer. I have now seen there is support out there, and it is not necessary to feel like that.'
