Bath Abbey Activity Day

Discover the Abbey’s amazing history through creative activities, from making medieval medicine or designing a hat in the style of Jane Austen. Includes a tour of the Bath Abbey tower, where you can enjoy the views from the top. 

This activity welcomes young people aged 5 and above. 

What to expect

Our free activities are here to help young people take some time for themselves, meet others in a similar situation and most importantly, have fun!

  • Climb 200 steps to see the view from the top of the Tower.
  • Create some rubbings of the floor stones in the Abbey.
  • Try on costumes from the Abbey’s past, including monks, admirals, lords and ladies.
