Bath Half Marathon

Sunday 16 March 2025

The Bath Half Marathon is one of the most popular sporting events in the UK and we’d love you to represent The Carers’ Centre in 2025. Join 15,000 other runners and follow a beautiful (and flat) course through the World Heritage City of Bath, along the River Avon and past The Carers’ Centre!

We have a small number of spaces available, and by taking part you’ll be helping to support and raise awareness of unpaid carers across Bath and North East Somerset.

The Carers’ Centre will be there to advise and motivate you during your training for the half marathon, and we’ll be there on the day to cheer you on as you take on the challenge of the 13.1-mile course. We’ll also provide you with a super smart Carers’ Centre vest so everyone knows who you’re running for.

Fundraising

The Carers’ Centre provides free support to over 5,000 adult carers and over 700 young carers across Bath and North East Somerset. Our services include personalised support plans, free wellbeing activities, carer cafés, peer support groups, and a dedicated support line.

Three in five people will become carers or will need to be cared for. As our population ages, demand for our services is growing year on year. Fundraising is crucial for us to continue to provide our free support to carers.

We’re asking runners to pledge to raise £1,000 ahead of the Bath Half Marathon.

The best way to raise that money is via The Carers' Centre Enthuse page. On that page people can find out more about The Carers’ Centre and the support we provide. You’ll also be able to update people on your training journey in the lead up to running the Bath Half in March.

For more information about fundraising, please contact Emma on fundraising@banescarerscentre.org.uk. Emma can help with support and ideas to help you reach your goal.

Thank you for choosing to run for The Carers’ Centre.
All the money you raise will make the lives of the carers we support a little easier, allowing them to continue to provide help to their loved ones.
