Financial Support for Young Carers

At The Carers’ Centre, we understand that being a young carer can bring additional pressures: emotionally, practically, and financially. That's why we're here to offer tailored financial assistance to help ease the load, whether you're struggling at home, missing out on activities, or you need support to achieve your educational goals.

How can we support you?

Social Support

We can help fund:

  • Club memberships, one-off activities, day trips and residentials
  • Contributions towards driving lessons
  • Holidays and breaks for young carers and their family members

Education Support

Need equipment for school or to help explore your potential?

  • Mentoring programmes
  • Laptops, school supplies and learning aids
  • Limited bursary options for private education placement

Home and Family Support

We can also help relieve pressure at home:

  • Helping with energy bills
  • Food and supermarket vouchers
  • Advice on benefits and budgeting
