Things to note
Our free activities are here to help you take some time for yourself and to meet others that understand the joys and challenges of looking after a loved one.
- The Assembly Rooms have recently been taken back into the hands of the National Trust. They are redeveloping the space as an attraction that focusses on its strong links to Georgian times, opening in 2026.
- The visit will start with a behind-the-scenes tour led by members of the National Trust team.
- After the tour there will be refreshments and a craft activity led by one of the team.
There will be some steps to negotiate during the tour – please let us know if this will be difficult for you.
If you need help with transport to attend this activity, please inform us when booking. Whilst we will do our best to arrange this, please note that we cannot make any guarantees.
