Make your own bird feeders

Connecting to nature is a great way to improve wellbeing. Young people can help themselves feel good, whilst helping the local wildlife. We wonder how many birds we'll attract with all their lovely bird feeders!

This activity welcomes young carers aged 5 years old and above.

What to expect

Our free activities are here to help young people take some time for themselves, meet others in a similar situation and most importantly, have fun!

There are lots of reasons to join this fantastic activity:

  • We also have some beautiful bird boxes created by one of our wonderful volunteers, so young people can also get involved with hanging these up.
  • We will do a fun ice breaker game to help make young carers feel more comfortable if it is their first time at The Carers' Centre.
  • This is a free activity, and lunch will be provided.

What our community say

"Thanks for all your help and support over the years Lindsey. It has made a huge difference."
