A new poll by The Carers’ Centre has revealed the depth of worries faced by unpaid carers across Bath and North East Somerset today. Friends and family who are caring for someone feel ‘tired’ ‘frustrated’ and ‘trapped’, with significant concern over the future.  

It is estimated that the number of unpaid carers has risen from 9.1 million to 13.6 million since the pandemic, yet the weight on this ‘hidden army’ prevails

To mark the beginning of Carers Week, The Carers’ Centre is proud to launch a new myth-busting campaign to challenge common misconceptions about caring, to ensure unpaid carers are recognised and supported by those around them.
