Ken is an experienced General Manager, who has worked in an executive capacity in both large and small organisations. This has mainly covered strategy, finance, marketing, operations and project management in a number of different fields, as well as extensive experience of teaching at Masters level, complemented by wide involvement as a Charity trustee over the last fifteen years.

His main areas of experience have covered 10 years with British Airways, 20 years with HSBC/Midland, 5 years with Sabanci Bank (a small UK based Turkish owned bank), and 10 years as a Visiting Senior Teaching Fellow with the Open University Business School, responsible for the writing and delivery of parts of their MBA programme.

Since 2004 he has been a trustee with a range of charities focused on supporting people in the UK. He has been on two local Relate Boards as well as five years on the National Board of Relate (where he was Chair from 2016-17). He is currently Chair of First Steps Bath and Finance Director of Film Bath.
