Joanna Hole - Trustee

Joanna Hole

Trustee

Joanna is an ex Senior Civil Servant, who after early retirement from Whitehall, became a Non-Executive Director and eventually Vice Chair at the RUH. After NHS Governance rules timed her out, she resolved to continue to use her skills & experience supporting something that really mattered, both to her and in her local community.

After 10 years assuring Patient and Carer experience at the hospital, Joanna is acutely aware of how important the role of Carers is. She wants to use what she had learnt in her earlier career and in the NHS, plus her background in HR, to support the amazing team at BANES Carers’ Centre.

Joanna is clear that supporting their individual human needs as well as their professional development, is key to the continued quality of the vital support they provide for Carers in BANES. Joanna is also a Trustee of VOICES, a charity in Bath supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse.
