Jo joined The Carers’ Centre team in 2008 after working in mental health settings in Cambridge and the South East. After working in the Adult Support team, Jo spent nearly 5 years as Young Carers Service Manager before leaving to look after her own growing family.

She is now back covering Laura's Maternity Leave and overseeing our wonderful team of volunteers, ensuring they are getting the most out of their role alongside supporting the Young Carers team.

Outside of working Jo is a fair weather cyclist and an even fairer weather outdoor swimmer. She also enjoys exploring historical buildings and National Trust gardens with her family. Whilst she doesn't embrace cooking, Jo collects cookery books and has over 40 on her shelf!
