Volunteers are vital to what we do. They offer their amazing skills to help us deliver life-changing services and they make a huge difference to the local community.

We welcome anyone over 18 years old, who have relevant skills, experience and a willingness to learn.

Each volunteering role will require different skills and time commitments. We do our best to make each role as flexible as possible. We are extremely grateful for any time that you can offer.

We offer all volunteers hands-on training to complete their voluntary role. Some roles will require more specific training, such as safeguarding training. We also offer all new volunteers a thorough induction to learn more about The Carers’ Centre.

We reimburse out-of-pocket expenses such as travel or parking tickets. We cover what can be claimed and how to claim during your induction.

Every volunteer role requires certain skills, however for the majority of our volunteer roles no qualifications are needed. Any requirement will be stated on the volunteer role description. Overall we are looking for great personal skills, enthusiasm and an interest in our cause!

The location of volunteer experiences can vary depending on the role. We have lots of flexible opportunities for you to get involved including roles at our centre in Bath, out in local communities and even from the comfort of home by helping with online activities.
